Cocoon to Light

By Sharon Miranda | April 24, 2009

I live now in this cocoon
Where I feel light and not yet see it
Where my body sways
But arms wrap tightly
Head bowed to chest
Where my heart beats slowly

In rest

To prepare for the light
Where wings will spread
To catch the wind
And carry me to some peak
Where I see forever
The light that holds my soul

In peace

Wisps of sand clouds
Still trace the distant view
Where I whipped the earth
To the sky
And pools of salty liquid
Filled the ruts I made
Where now new life
Swarms under sweet sun

Heart Shards

By Sharon Miranda | April 24, 2009

Broken heart shards
Lain upon the path to God
Twinkle in the night
When moons remember

Messages To and For Us

By Sharon Miranda | April 1, 2009

It is no new news that what we focus on we get more of. What fills
our minds and consciousness, and how we perceive things to be, is
what fills the physical world around us. What we are being or
vibrating, is what we will be creating as our reality and world.

~Karen Bishop

Really, we are responsible for our own experience.
If we run away from it, we will simply re-create in the same way.
If we face what we’re doing, take responsibility
Then we have a chance of next stepping into
An earth more to our liking.

I say this to you. We are partners on earth.

It’s up to us
To create that earth for ourselves
Right here

But how?

Read that statement at the top again.
That’s how.
Build our temples from the inside.

I have chosen my cabin room to be my soul temple
The place where I feel held and shown
The love of beauty that is inside me
The reflection of it in my external world
Reflects right back to the internal
Ad infinitum

The only thing that can cut off the reflection
Is our focus
Pointed in another direction
Our choice

Our confusion
Our loss of memory
Of our own power
And our thought
Our interpretation

We think that being alone means something is wrong
We think that we are sad that we don’t have a relationship
We get scared when money isn’t covering our living costs
We get focused on lack of money, lack of partners, lack of happiness

Let’s stop

Let us take this belief on; that as we consider
So shall the world comply
Let us, for these days, realize
That everything that shows up in our external world
Is a precise reflection of our internal reality

And in that belief,
Let us realize that we have the power
To change our internal reality
We do
It is a matter of choice making

Let us make the choice
That we are beautiful and powerful people
And others who are the same will always be attracted to that
Since we are creating the external world from the inside
There is no other way

Let us make the choice
That every way we are, every nuance, every thought
Is a treasure of extreme rare value
As is God

Let us respect the sacred self
Realize it’s true place and value
On and off earth

Let us know
Our self
Does not end at the surface of our skin
The skin only divides our inner from our outer selves
Our skin is the surface of the mirror

Do this with me please

If even only in the dreaming mind before opening your eyes
In the morning, just before the sun comes up
Light a candle in the window through which you can see the sky
Place a sacred statue or object that brings the sensation to you
Of your inner beauty and power and diligence
And merely relish in that
While the sun changes the sky
So shall we change our lives

With great love and devotion,
Your spiritual team mate,
~Sharon Miranda

When two loved ones meet between worlds

By Sharon Miranda | April 1, 2009

Like wind over water

And Clouds in a valley

Where motion meets energy

And love seeps to welcome space

Do we find ourselves arriving

In one another’s gaze

~Your Sharon
